as I always do I Just took the bus, with big parking lot here is wall mart American’s best retailer with the smiley faces stickers on the floor I started to smile back to its employer in dark blue and green serving you and this barcode whistle never stop, people pushing their cart trying to remember what they really need!!.
Hypermarkets is not that far from my culture we got many international brands but to be honest not all of its that big many and various sections and departments clothes, perfume, bikes, watches, cell phones and laptops everything is there even a MacDonald’s® restaurant and in “other branches you can found a sushi bar * “http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wal-Mart.
On the gate take a cart and start shopping and keep remember wall mart slogan “save money live better” Keep push the cart and start the shopping mania. Because wal-mart got "Low prices, always" ** http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wal-Mart
Wal mart the story :
The company was founded by Sam Walton in 1962 it’s a kind of big successful story for American business man start a retailer business in the last century and year after year the company Stocks started to grow in the stock market and in the consumer mind the story is bigger than this assignment it’s needs a whole academic paper work but what I can tell that the hyper markets in Egypt don’t come with this such big huge_ investment I think as a marketing student that wal-mart Inc depend on the daily growth Profit in the first place like losing some money “ if this the right expression” and get it from other side. Maybe because wal-mart depends on products offered by Wal-Mart and produced through contracts with manufacturers.
As an outsider:
I have start to define the big difference between the consuming type in Egypt and here in USA
where I come from people prefer to purchase their daily needs from food and each need got its own store and the hyper markets is a new consuming concept for them, I mean buy the meat from the butcher and the tomato from the greengrocer and the blender from the appliance store the grocery got the pasta and now you ready to make it ,some kind of shopping cultural that takes much time and waste some money I think it’s bad for the Economy the trip that the product takes from the manufacture to the first disrupter to the second disrupter add a value for each stage which increase the price for the final consumer and those small distruster can’t enter the stock market with such small budget ,so the hyper market cultural is the best from many sides ,the consumer that needs to cover his needs and go on the budget and the owner who do the investment and the manufacture whose wants to produce more and more and about the wrong consumption that come as a result for the low price , I think it’s the consumer responsibility , and the hyper markets make it better for the national Income .
Hypermarkets in Egypt not that common because people prefer the daily shopping and cocking and we need about another 20 years to go on the same American consumption type because “Microwave mentality” is far away from the Egyptian consumer .

I’ll set a huge budget for the marketing research in the first store make a big search for the people living around how many A class with big income and how many B class with lower income and how many C class with the lowest income, try to know what kind of salad dressing they are preferring is their culture allow them to eat pork or no and I’ll depend on the Networking advertisement cause shopping for food is experience and people always need help keep sending random gift with my slogan and my target market won’t be everybody because I think it’s wrong concept I will start with the families with big members and hire more people for delivery service because people don’t enjoy shopping the food try to get Doctors endorsement telling the people that healthy food is much better .
Start the contract with the suppliers and make a plan B suppliers make offers.
Take care of the staff and their family trying to get most loyalty from them, because one bad employer emotion can kick the customer away.The competitors analysis is very important element, what they got better am I the better or them why and how to get better can we just share the market and keep friends trying to get “the bigger share”
Keep looking around me did the kids got in the school got the candy, how many trees I planted next to my store and keep making weekly events.
